FLOWER CHILD IPA
R152.00
This earthy beauty exudes a rich sensual aroma from the first pour. Cut flowers, tangerines, grapefruit and grenadillas all come forward as a result of our heavy use of hops. After a few sips, the mouthfeel is one of bitterness, typical of an IPA. The style evolved in the 1800’s, when beer that was brewed in England needed to survive the gruelling 6 month sea journey to India to supply the British colonies. Hops, known for its preservative properties, was added by the bagful, giving the beer its character. This has now become a very popular style amongst artisan brewers. Have a few and let your imagination transport you through the fynbos of the surrounding Overberg hills.
